Changing Culture

As a family, Roger, Jake, Khara, and I have a passion to help individuals, families and organizations change their lives -- and the culture -- for the better.

Since the beginning of our relationship in Ohio during the mid-1970's, Roger and I spent  the first two decades of our marriage working with students in a variety of capacities--as youth workers, program directors, coaches and counselors to high school and collegians.

Upon moving to California in the mid-1980's, we branched out as national speakers and authors on the topics of dating, marriage, fitness, and faith.  All the while our son, Jacob, pursued a Communications degree and traveled the world as a soccer missionary.  After returning home to California, he met and married Khara Tirabassi, an RN.  Almost immediately, the younger Tirabassi's prepared for their joint mission: to work in Uganda, Africa with a sports ministry, church plant, and missional clothing company.  They will leave in December 2011 for a 10-month stay.

My husband, Dr. Roger Tirabassi and I have continued to write books together and speak at PreMarital and Marriage conferences.

As a speaker and author to students and adults, I continue taking courses in education and research on the topics of Alcohol and Sex in America--especially as it impacts families and students.
